About Our Analytics Tools

This site uses Google Analytics, an analytics tool provided by Google. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect traffic data. This data is collected anonymously and does not identify individuals. For details, see the Google Analytics Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

We also use Microsoft Clarity and Mieruca Heatmap to make our pages easier to read. These tools record how visitors interact with a page, such as how far they scroll and where they click. Personal information such as text entered into forms is masked and is not recorded.

Advertising

This site uses third-party advertising services (Google AdSense, A8.net, Moshimo Affiliate, Amazon Associates, Rakuten Affiliate, RENTRACKS, afb, felmat, and others). These advertising providers use cookies to serve ads based on your past visits to this site and other sites.

You can turn off personalized advertising in Google Ad Settings. You can also visit aboutads.info to disable the cookies used by third-party ad providers.

Advertising and PR Disclosure

This site contains articles, banners, and links that are published in return for compensation from advertisers. Such articles are clearly marked as “PR” or “Advertisement”. As a participant in affiliate programs including the Amazon Associates Program, we earn from qualifying purchases.

Whether or not we are compensated, we write our articles based on what we have actually verified, and we do not give evaluations that differ from the facts.

Comments

When visitors leave comments on this site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, together with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help with spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to check whether you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture is publicly visible alongside your comment.

Comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

Cookies Used in the Comment Section

When you leave a comment on this site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website URL in cookies. These save you from re-entering your details the next time you comment, and they are kept for 1 year.

When you log in to this site, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies (it contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser), a cookie that stores your login information (2 days, or 2 weeks if you select “Remember Me”), and a cookie for your screen display options (1 year). The login cookies are removed when you log out. If you edit or publish a post, an additional cookie indicating the ID of the post you edited is stored in your browser, and it expires after 1 day.
